Join our exclusive class with Master Baker Punky and learn how to create a traditional Bûche de Noël cake just in time for Thanksgiving! Punky will guide you step by step, from mastering the sponge cake to creating the rich buttercream filling and decorative touches. The Bûche de Noël, or Yule Log cake, is a traditional French dessert served during the holiday season. Its origins date back to the 19th century, inspired by the ancient custom of burning a large log in the hearth to mark the winter solstice. Over time, this practice transformed into a festive cake, symbolizing warmth, light, and family gatherings. Decorated to resemble a wooden log, the Bûche de Noël has become a beloved holiday tradition across Europe and beyond.

Punky Egan earned the title of Certified Master Baker, one of less than 200 in the country. During her 45-year professional baking career, she owned Sucré Patisserie and Dessert Lounge, was the lead instructor at Madison College, and appeared on the Food Network!

This hands-on class is limited to only 8 participants, ensuring personalized guidance as you craft your own delicious masterpiece to take home. The cost is $85 per person and includes beverages. Take home your beautifully crafted cake and enjoy the festive spirit.
