Jason Adamany

Jason Adamany - President

Jason Adamany is the President and owner of Adesys, an IT services firm which he founded in 1997 to provide technology solutions to local business customers. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Business School. In addition to The Madison Club Board of Directors, Jason also served eight years on the Board of Directors of the Fitchburg Chamber and served as president of the Chamber in 2006. Jason has taken an active role in his community and has worked with local leaders to advocate for small business policy. When not working, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, traveling and attending UW football and basketball games. Jason and his wife Erin live in Fitchburg with their two children, Ava and Michael, and joined the Madison Club in 2002. Jason has been a member of The Madison Club's Board since 2009.

Drew Petersen

Andrew Petersen - Vice President

Andrew “Drew” Petersen currently serves as VP-External Affairs and Corporate Communications for TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS) in Madison. Drew received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in History and Leadership Studies from Ripon College. Drew is active in the civic community of Madison and the State of Wisconsin. Currently he serves as a gubernatorial appointment to the Wisconsin Technical College System Board of Directors, Trustee/Vice President for the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Organization of Dane County, and an at-large Director to the Madison Club. Additionally, he is a Member of our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and has served on the Parish School and Family board of directors. Drew, his wife Laura Imhoff Petersen, daughter Isabelle, and son Davis live in Middleton, and have been members of the Club since 1998.

Theran Welsh

Theran Welsh - Treasurer

Theran works at SVA Certified Public Accountants as lead principal for the Construction Consulting Group and as a member of the firm’s Real Estate Consulting Group. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Wisconsin Institute of Public Accountants, the Madison Area Builders Association, the Construction Financial Management and the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin, Theran is also active in many community based organizations such as the National W Club, the Blue Line Club, the Exchange Club of Downtown Madison, the United Way, the UW Badger Hockey Golf Outing, and the American Family Children's Hospital Development Partners Advisory Board. Theran and his wife Julie currently reside in Verona with their three children, Jackson, Taylor and Lauren. They have been members of the Club since 2006.

Jerlando Jackson

Jerlando Jackson - Secretary

Jerlando F. L. Jackson is a Professor of Higher and Postsecondary Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also serves as Director of Wisconsin’s Equity and Inclusion Laboratory. In addition to his work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Jackson is also the Executive Director for the Center for African American Research and Policy and is the President/CEO of The Jackson Consulting Firm. A member of the Madison Club since 2007, he serves on the House and Marketing committees. “I welcome the opportunity to serve the Madison Club on the Board as key strategic directions and priorities are identified for the next 100 years.”

Jon Anderson

Jon Anderson - Director

Jon Anderson is an Attorney with Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., in Madison, and leads its state-wide Labor and Employment Law team. He practices in the area of labor and employment, education and health care law. Jon is a member of the Board of the Education Law Association, President of the Board of the Capitol West Academy, and a member of the Board of St. Aemilian-Lakeside, Inc. When not practicing law, Jon enjoys traveling, golf and cooking. Jon has been a member of the Madison Club since 1987, and a member of the Club’s Finance Committee since 2008. Jon and his wife Lori have three grown children.

Tracy Buglass

Tracy Buglass - Director

Tracy Buglass has over 25 years sales and marketing experience. Tracy is a Madison native and is a graduate of UW-Whitewater with a degree in business marketing. Tracy is a LGM and Civitas graduate, a past President of the Greater Madison Chamber Ambassadors, and now continues to serve as a Chamber Ambassador. Ms. Buglass is a past president of The Business Forum and a Tempo member. Tracy lives in Deerfield with her husband Bill, their 14 Arabian horses, two dogs and 7 barn cats. Tracy and Bill have been members of the Madison Club since 2005.

Gwendolyn Cooley

Gwendolyn Cooley - Director

Gwendolyn Cooley is the Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. She joined the Madison Club in 2010. Gwendolyn received her J.D. cum laude from Marquette University Law School and holds a B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Alec Herring

Alec Herring - Director

Alec Herring is a Vice President and Partner with The Buchholz Planning Corporation, an independent 40 year old insurance brokerage and consulting firm headquartered in Madison. In this role, Alec helps healthcare organizations, professionals and business owners optimize their risk management through the use of BPC’s policy analytics, carrier negotiation expertise, and client service model. Alec serves on the Board of the Madison Estate Council and on the Madison Club Finance Committee. He is active in his church and community and enjoys family time with his wife Michelle and their two children. The Herrings have been members of the Madison Club since 2009.

Ross Kinzler

Ross Kinzler - Director

Ross Kinzler is the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Housing Alliance, a state-based trade association for the factory built housing industry. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he now serves as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Letters and Sciences. Ross has been honored by his peers in the association management community by being named “Executive Director of the Year” twice in the factory built housing industry. He also received the Summit Award for Community Service from the American Society of Association Executives for a home rehab project for homeless families utilizing labor from the Wisconsin prison system. He has served on the Membership, Marketing and Finance committees of the Madison Club, and is currently the President of the Madison Club Foundation. Along with his wife Barbara, he resides in Waunakee. They have been members of the Madison Club since 2002.

Carla McDonald

Carla McDonald - Director

Carla McDonald holds degrees in political science from the University of California, Berkeley and Yale University. Since moving to Wisconsin with her family in 1997, she has worked in state government and on local, state and federal political campaigns. Carla's husband, native Madisonian Greg Everts, is a partner at the Quarles and Brady law firm and serves on the Madison Club Foundation's Board of Directors. Their family lives in Madison's Nakoma neighborhood, where Carla has served on the board of and as co-president of the Nakoma League. Carla and Greg have two children, daughter Clare who attends the University of Chicago, and son Matthew who is at Yale College. Carla and Greg have been Madison Club members since 2000.

Terry Taylor

Terry Taylor - Director

Terry Taylor is the President of Oak Bank in Fitchburg. Terry graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is a certified public accountant. Terry is a current board member for the Wisconsin Bankers Association and is a member of Downtown Rotary. Terry’s personal interests include spending time with his family, boating, golfing and hunting. Terry and his wife Karen live in Oregon with their two sons, Braden (9) and Logan (6). They have been members of the Madison Club since 2006.
